Thank you for your interest in getting involved at True North Community Church! Each Sunday, it takes over 100 volunteers to run smoothly at our church. Join one of our teams and discover how you can make a difference while also being fulfilled! The links below describe many of the service opportunities where we currently need your help. Please note: All volunteers serving in the Children and Student ministries must complete a background & criminal check prior to serving.
Online Hosting - Are you computer savvy? Love talking to new people? Want to help guests connect with our church? Become a host on our online chat Sunday mornings!
Cafe & Bookstore - We want visitors to have a welcoming experience at True North; our Cafe and Bookstore teams help create this experience by preparing coffee, bagels and by providing other resources.
Frontline Team - This team serves our attendees by welcoming them into our church from the parking lots to the auditorium. Positions on this team include greeters and ushers.
Safety Team - The Safety Team serves True North by keeping our visitors, volunteers and staff safe. We want each visitor to feel secure so they can focus their Sunday mornings on discovering their role in God's amazing story over anything else.
Production Team - All lighting, video, audio elements for our services are coordinated by this team.
True North Worship - This team serves to provide worship for services.
Wild Kingdom - True North's environment designed for young children (infants 6+ weeks through PreK).
Uptown - Children in kindergarten through 5th grade have a blast learning about God here.
Child Check-In - This team serves the parents and kids of True North by assisting with the registration process on Sunday mornings.
Journey - True North's youth ministry (grades 6 through 12) that meets on Wednesday nights.
DAY TO DAY
Love Others Market - Food Pantry Volunteer: Volunteer with True North's food pantry, Love Others Market! The ideal volunteer should have great communication and organizational skills, and of course, the call to 'love others.' Responsibilities include organizing donations, coordinating pick-up schedules and exemplifying the love of Jesus Christ to all who walk through our doors.
Facilities Team - This team serves True North by helping out with building maintenance needs on an as-needed basis
Weekly Admin - This team serves True North by helping out with day to day administrative work. This includes receptionist work, volunteer support, and special projects.
