First of all, welcome! We’re really excited that you’ve come, or that you’re thinking about coming. We’ve put together some common questions and answers to try to take some of the mystery out of visiting a church. If you have a question that’s not addressed here, please don’t hesitate to call the church office at 631.476.3811, or email us at
.
Thanks!

What should I wear to True North?
Our dress code (if you can even call it that) is extremely casual. You’ll see people wearing jeans, shorts, and t-shirts. There may be some folks doing the ‘business casual’ thing – khakis and button down shirts. And if you work real hard, you may even find someone with a tie!

What time does it start?
The morning services begin at 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM, while our evening services, Elevate, begin at 6:30 & 8:30 PM.

How do I get there?
We’re on Terryville Road in Port Jefferson Station, south of rte. 347. Click here for a map and for directions from the address of your choice.

What if I need something or have questions while I’m there?
We want you to feel at home the minute you pull your car into our driveway. We have nice folks wearing clearly marked ‘STAFF’ IDs all over the place, and there’s an ‘INFO’ table right inside the front door.

What about my kids?
We’ve worked hard to make our children’s ministry something really special. We think you’ll notice it as soon as you head downstairs to our children’s area. You can be confident that your children will be well cared for during your time at True North.

What is Pastor Bert speaking about?
Each week Pastor Bert, or one of our other staff members uses God’s timeless truth and applies it to everyday life in clear, engaging terms. Expect a healthy dose of humor too!
